This is just the beginning

Updated: Apr 4, 2022

Happy birthday to me, Happy birthday to me, happy birthday Hayley Laws hair and beauty, happy birthday to me. Four awesome years of being in business. I’m the first to admit it’s been a struggle physically and mentally over the years. finding myself unemployed and in demand by my clients I had no choice but set up on my own, working long hours, the struggle was real I had to put everything I had into this business (and that wasn’t a lot as I had just got back from vegas) if it was going to succeed. I put all of my pennies together to pay for my products and tools then set off on the train to visit my clients at their homes in London.

At first work was quiet, I had lost a lot of clients as they were only passing trade and were located far away. Times were hard, there were quiet days that I probably let go by when I should have been planning or learning, but then things started to pick up, word started to spread, so my weeks got busier and my days got longer. I attended seminars, studied books, passed courses, I have achieved so much over these years I have an Nvq2 and 2 diplomas in hairdressing, I have passed two levels of spay tanning (you will find my name on the professional list on the SiennaX website), and then I have nine(my lucky number) Diplomas over a variety of beauty and makeup treatments. There is no doubt that I have truly worked hard, but that’s what you do to build and create a platform that you love and bring a dream to life. These past years have been amazing and I have met so many different types of people and whilst travelling I see more of London then I ever have living all my life just 20mins away. I had to have heart surgery last year and thought I was going to lose it all, but you stayed loyal. Thank you for being part of my journey, to those who asked me to ‘just visit them at home until I found a salon’, to my family and friends for putting up with my tantrums and encouraging me when I had doubts. For all your likes and shares on my social media posts. Thank you my lovely clients, for you’re amazing support and loyalty, I could never have done it without you. Losing my job was the best thing that ever happened to me. I’v achieved so much in four years I can’t wait to see what I will be writing in my blog in another 4 years. I’m Looking forward to more adventures there is so much more I have to offer, and curious to see where this journey will turn, this is just the beginning.

love

Hayley
