Appointment time

I recommend for you to be at your chosen venue at least 10 minutes in advance of your hair/beauty treatment. Please be advised that late starts might result in a reduction of treatment time. If I am running behind you will be notified ahead of schedule. Situations out of my control such as traffic/road closures will not affect your treatment.

 

Prices

Prices are subject to change without notice.

I reserve the right to change the nature of any treatments, courses or packages at any time. Prices are intended as guide only. You will be charged for the services you receive, which may differ from the services you have booked. Prices stated on the website do not include any promotions, offers or discounts.

 

Bookings

Bookings may need to be slightly amended to fit in with my mobile time slots. If I am running behind you will be notified ahead of schedule. Situations out of my control such as traffic/road closures will not affect your treatment.

 

Colour changes and transformations

Changing your colour can be easy. Sometimes it’s more complicated. We recommend you leave extra time in case the appointment slot rolls over.

Skin tests

If you are booking for a hair colour service, eyelash/eyebrow tint or eyelash extensions, you will need a skin test at least 48 hours before the treatment is due. Failure to have a skin test will result in Hayley Laws being unable to carry out your treatment(s).

 

Cancelation Policy

Your booked appointment is reserved especially for you. I understand circumstances may change and booking amendments may be necessary, therefore I respectfully request 24 hours notice for cancellations. If you forget to cancel your appointment within the 24-hour cancellation time, I miss the opportunity to re-allocate that appointment slot. A confirmation text is sent out after booking your appointment followed by a 48-hour appointment reminder sent via text message. Failure to cancel appointments within the 24 hours will result in a cancellation fee.

Less than 24 hours notice will result in a £20 charge, regardless of the overall treatment cost.

 

Under 16s

Treatments for children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult for the entire treatment.

 

Health conditions/ allergic reactions and Pregnancy

Kindly advise Hayley Laws of any health conditions, allergies or injuries which could affect your choice of treatment when making your appointment.

Some treatments will be unavailable to a client within the first trimester, or throughout their pregnancy. I will refuse to carry out this treatment. This is to protect the client. Hormones during pregnancy could possibly react with the chemicals used in the treatment, therefore a different outcome is rare but possible.

 

Bridal Terms and Conditions

 

 

Arrival time

I recommend for you to be at your chosen venue at least 20 minutes in advance of your hair/makeup treatment. Please be advised that late starts might result in a reduction of treatment time. Please ensure every member of your bridal party is aware of timings on the day. I do send out your itinerary before your wedding date and advise that this is passed on to all involved so that there is no misunderstanding around the schedule.

 

Booking/appointments

It is the responsibility of the Bride or Bridesmaid etc.. who made the appointment booking with Hayley Laws to understand, agree, and accept responsibility for all appointments.

 

Deposits/Booking Fee

By proceeding to pay a Booking Fee, you accept that you are entering into a contract between you, the client, and Hayley Laws, the professional. You agree to be bound by these conditions. Booking Fees are non-refundable. The non refundable booking Fee covers all of my non recoverable costs associated with taking on your booking such as invoicing, admin time and costs. Should no payment be received I will be unable to secure your wedding date, therefore this date will be available to other parties. Your quote is valid for 28 days, however you have 48 hours where I will hold this in place after quoting via email. If no contact is made on your behalf I will assume that you do not wish to continue with your booking. I will therefore re-open your wedding date and re-allocate to another bride.

 

Prices

My bridal hair packages at the time of initial inquiry are non-negotiable and the package price will still be charged if not all services outlined in the package are required, or cancellations are made within one month of the wedding date. Your Bridal quote is valid for 28 days after being written. After this date it is no longer valid. If a quote is still required I can re-write it with the possibility of higher fees.


 

Expenses

Travel expenses are included in the quotation and all are calculated from Bromley, Kent. Fuel charges will be added if the venue is further than 10 miles from Bromley, Kent. Additional mileage will be charged at 50 pence per mile.

 

Trials

Without a trial I cannot accept responsibility if a desired style or look does not meet expectations on the wedding day and a refund will not be offered.

Prior notice must be given if you wish to cancel or reschedule your trial appointment. Refunds, retrials, or cancellations without charges are solely at my discretion. If you suspect any member of your bridal party may pose as a challenge in any way, they are encouraged to have a trial to avoid potential delays on the day.

 

Payments

For your wedding date to be reserved, a non-refundable booking fee of £50 is required to secure the wedding day booking. This booking fee is then deducted from your final. Should no fee be paid I will be unable to secure your wedding date, therefore this date will be available to other parties.

Trial costs are due at the time of the trial, or prior.

 The remaining balance must be paid prior or no later than 1 month before your wedding day. It is the Bride who is responsible for all payments due by specified dates. Booking fees are non-refundable. Should no payment be received we will proceed with legal action to recover losses.

My minimum spend Must be reached for the booking to take place. This will be included in your quote. The price agreed at the time of booking is final unless extra services are added. If an assistant is required for hire (due to a larger booking), you will be required to pay for all services agreed even if your bridal party decreases. This will cover the time the additional stylist has booked out for your booking. If your bridal party decreases in size within 6 weeks of your wedding date, full payment that has been agreed is still to be paid. 

If you cancel your booking

I will only accept changes to a booking or enquiries about the appointments from the bride only. Changes to your booking by adding another person on to your original booking can only be accepted if time/resources allow on your wedding day and I will need 24hrs prior notice about this change. Adding extra people on the day, without warning, may jeopardize the quality of my work or delay the ceremony. All payments are the responsibility of the bride. In the unfortunate event that you must cancel your booking completely, I require a minimum of 1 months notice. After such time the full amount will still be payable by the specified date.

 

Postponements

For all Bridal Parties that are choosing to postpone their wedding date, the booking fee will be moved over to your new date provided that I am available to work. It will not be refunded. There may be a small uplift in prices due to rising costs of insurances, travel and PPE. 
The non refundable booking covers all of my non recoverable costs associated with taking on your booking such as invoicing, admin time and costs. 

 

If I cancel your booking

In the unlikely event that I cannot attend on the day of your wedding due to unforeseen and unfortunate circumstances, all payments will be immediately refunded (including deposit fees). I will work with you to find an alternative hairstylist/makeup artist to cater for your requirements, however; any such booking will remain solely the responsibility of yourself.

If I am made to feel uncomfortable in anyway, or mistreated, or if anyone becomes abusive/violent or displays any offensive behaviour, I have the right to cancel the contract without refund. In the event of extreme weather conditions, we reserve the right to cancel your booking. We will refund all payments as a gesture of goodwill, excluding trial costs and deposit.

 

If I am delayed

If I experience unforeseen delays which are out of my control, refunds will not be given if one or more services are forfeited as a result and no compensation will be offered if we overrun. If you are aware of factors, which could delay or hinder our journey, such as diversions, road closures, speed restrictions, match days, market days, please advise me as soon as possible so I can factor this into my route. No refund or compensation will be offered for delays caused by other wedding vendors, guests, or members of the bridal party.

 

On the Day

You must ensure that I will be working in a suitable environment with adequate lighting, electricity points, and hand washing facilities. Please ensure every member of your Bridal party is aware of timings on the day.
