FAQs

BEFORE YOUR TRIAL

Q. Are you mobile?

Yes, I am completely freelance. I will travel to your home or venue for your trial and on your big day.

Q. Do I need to have a trial of my hair and makeup before the day?

I would always recommend a trial before your wedding date. A trial is dedicated time to design your style and discuss your ideas. Time is limited on the day so this will ensure that I know exactly what we are going to do, so that everything runs smoothly and to schedule for the day.

Q. When do I need to book in for a consultation and trial?

It is not necessary to have a consultation before your trial. I normally take bookings and discuss your ideas via email so I am prepared for your trial. However if you feel more comfortable to meet me beforehand, I have consultation appointments that I hold at the Kent Wedding Centre in Tonbridge. I would suggest to book your trial 2-4 months prior to your wedding date. You can book as soon as you have your dress ordered. I would say not to book too far in advance incase you change your style and have to re-book another trial at a cost.

Q. How many people in my party can I include?

Styles and services will depend on the party size. Services are tailored to each party, so I cannot say until I have all the information needed. In some cases another stylist will be recommended to work along side me.

NB Other stylists will have a different pricing structure.

Q. How do I book?

To book all you need to do is to fill out your Bridal Party information on my enquiry form and we can take things from there.

ABOUT YOUR TRIAL

Q. Which is to be done first, hair or make-up?

It really depends on the style. I would normally design your bespoke hairstyle before I work on your makeup. However with some styles the hair will need to be set, while I apply your makeup.

Q. Can I use my own makeup?

Of course. If you have particular makeup that you would rather I use on the day, this can be organised at the trial, or discussed via email.

Q. What do I need to do before the day.

All information will be shared for you before your trial or at your trial. I will send over a pdf with information the week of your booking.

Q. Do I have to follow your prep information.

It is not necessary to follow the prep information that I will send you for the day. You know your hair and skin far better than me, so if you have a reigime that works best for you please stick to that. However I do want you to get the best out of your trial, so clean hair, and clean hydrated skin is a must!

ABOUT YOUR WEDDING DAY

Q. What happens on the Wedding Day?

I would have already planned your hair and makeup schedule in advance. I will arrive 15 mins before I start to set up and get all of my tools and products prepped.

Q. Do I need to have anything ready for your arrival?

I would suggest finding an area near a window, or with good lighting where I can work. I will need a table to set up my tools and products, preferably near plug sockets. Time can get lost rearranging furniture and clearing tables.

Q. How do I pay?

When you book, I will take a £50 deposit to secure your wedding date. This deposit is non-refundable, but will be deducted from your final “On the day” fee. This cannot be used against your trial fee. The final payment is due the month before your wedding date. I will email the full payment procedure when you have confirmed your booking. You will receive an invoice after each payment for your records

Q. Where can I review your services after the wedding day?

I trust that you will be happy with my services for the day. Feel free to leave your review online for other brides to learn about my services. You can leave a few words on any of the platforms stated below. Google is my preferred, but copy and pasting to another would be amazing.
