Nude lips
My favourite nudes for spring. I love Mac lip pencils and have more than I can remember in my kit. My most loved and used are the Barely there, soar, and whirl. These neutral tones are perfect shades as we enter spring for fresh walks and coffee dates.
Hydrate your Skin
The Nuxe Collection set is a hydration must-have kit. I feel like I'm really struggling this winter, so this is perfect to leave you feeling hydrated against the cold weather, and the central heating that has been drying us out through the darker days. These products always leave me feeling relaxed and refreshed, and smelling like I have had a payday weekend at the spa. shop the Nuxe range here.
Moisturise and prime.
My skin has been really struggling this winter. I have had a few hormone changes with my thyroid, so that really doesn't help, and there is always one week of the month where we break out, or our skin is really dehydrated. Bobbi Brown Vitamin-enriched Face Base Moisturiser & Primer is perfect for those bad skin days. It is a primer and a moisturiser in one, so either layer it under your foundation to hide imperfections or massage it into your skin to hydrate and leave you with that healthy glow.
It comes in three sizes: 15 ml if you fancy trying it before you invest in the larger sizes, 50ml is standard and then 100ml if this is your ultimate go-to moisturiser.
Hair Detox
Now is the time to detox, the new season starts on the 20th March, so I can't think of a better time to detox those locks and get them ready for a fresh new season. Get the in-salon treatment from L'Oréal with their Metal detox shampoo. This will help draw out any impurities that have built up over the winter and are still left over from the “ party” season. It is a sulphate-free shampoo that helps protect the hair against breakage and boosts your colour. Leaving you with a fresh boost for heading into Spring
A touch of Bronze
The days may be staying lighter longer; however, the sunny days are few and still far between. Why not brush a little sunshine into the last of the winter days and start a warmer spring with a beautiful bronzer to add a little colour to your cheeks and nose for that fresh, dewy vibe.
Bronzers I love are Benefit Hoola, Ysl All Hours Hyper Bronzer. 7.5g, NO7 Pro Artist bronzer powder 9g, or Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Bronzer. These are some of my most loved brands, and there are many to choose from.
Lip oil
Gift yourself the Estée Lauder Sheer Wonders Holiday Lip Oil Trio Gift Set. These luxury oils come in three shades: Cheer, a blush neutral shade, Celebrate, a light pink, and Holiday Muse, a mauve berry shade. These oils will literally take you from morning, noon and night, just switch up the shades as the day goes on. They will leave your lips seriously hydrated, glossy and understandably kissable.
Hair saviour
Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Leave-In conditioner is Perfect to get your hair in condition after a long winter of wind, rain and central heating. The weather has simply been drying out our hair and leaving it looking dull, dark and limp. I love this as a leave-in conditioner. I apply after taking the heavy wet out of my hair and then blow-dry and style. I have used this for years and believe it is one of the reasons that my hair stays long and luscious.
